God never stops speaking to His people, even in the ordinary and disappointing places of life. Like Paul in Athens, we can learn to hear Him by accepting where we currently are, aligning our thoughts with His, and then actually acting on what He reveals.

God calls each of us to things He loves us enough to ask, but which feel hard or uncomfortable, and it's tempting to run the other way like Jonah did. The hope is that God isn't waiting to punish us for running, He's waiting to bring us back, and the sooner we turn and trust Him, the sooner the chaos we caused by running gets resolved.

Through Abraham's story, Pastor Brent shows that faith isn't mainly about believing for miracles — it's about obedience, even when it's inconvenient or doesn't make sense. Abraham's faith was inconsistent, yet God remained consistently faithful, providing a way even in the hardest test, and He will do the same for us.
