Authentic Faith

Jesus offers real transformation, not a role to perform. Through three parables told in the temple, He shows that self-righteous religion — acting the part without a changed heart — leaves people no different from the sinners they look down on, while genuine faith in Him as Messiah reshapes how we live, love, and trust Him even when life is hard.

A heart truly transformed by Christ is set free to love God and love others, and it shows in what we do with our time, talents, and treasure. The danger, seen vividly in Ananias and Sapphira, is pretending to be more spiritual than we are — acting the impostor rather than living out real faith, something God takes far more seriously than we tend to.

Faith isn't something you earn by works, but Pastor Daniel shows from James 2 that genuine faith always overflows into action. If your faith never changes how you live, date, spend, or treat people in need, James says that's not saving faith — it's the same head knowledge the demons have.
