Grace is a free gift we could never earn, but it was never meant to be a loophole for sin. Because Jesus's cross and resurrection broke both the penalty and the power of sin, we've died to our old selves and are united with Christ in new life — and that union, not willpower or rule-keeping, is what actually frees us to live differently.
