We live in the loneliest, most disconnected generation despite unprecedented social connectivity, and God never intended us to fight life's battles alone. Through the biblical friendship of Jonathan and David, we see that godly friendship means fighting beside each other in shared faith and mission, fighting for each other by speaking truth and showing up in need, and continually pointing each other back to God in hard times. Such friendships are a gift from God meant to reflect and strengthen our relationship with Him, and they require us to move beyond isolation into real, biblical community.
