Life often creates a gap between what we expect from God and what we actually experience, and that gap can grow into frustration, doubt, and even a crisis of faith. Pastor Daniel shows through John the Baptist's story in Matthew 11 that doubt itself isn't the danger — what we do with it is. If Jesus is truly God and not merely a good teacher, we can trust Him even when His ways don't make sense, leaning into Him in hard seasons instead of running away.

Even when the world looks like it's falling apart, we have every reason to relax, because Jesus said His kingdom is forcefully advancing and not even the gates of hell can stop it. Unlike every other kingdom in history, it doesn't advance through power and might but through love, and if we've put our faith in Jesus, we're already part of it.

God's love for us doesn't wait on our performance; He has always loved us, even when we don't trust or honor Him. Once we truly grasp how deeply He loves us, trusting Him with our worship, our marriages, our money, and our service stops being a burden and becomes the natural response.

Jesus is not just a future event or a feeling but a living person who walks through our locked doors of hopelessness, just as He did for Thomas. What looks like a setback in our lives is really God's setup to draw us to see and embrace the living hope of the risen Jesus.
