Easter

Easter shows us that we spend our lives chasing wins we think will finally give us life, but we can never actually win that way. Jesus didn't come to save our day — He came to save us, defeating sin and death Himself so that we could stop striving and simply trust the One who already won.

God's love, proven at Easter, is what changes us — not our performance for Him. When we try to impress God and prove we deserve His love, we end up ashamed when we fail or angry at Him. But when we surrender to the love He's already shown us, that love itself transforms how we see our problems, our relationships, and our lives.

Even when Easter feels strange or isolating, Jesus is still who He always was — the way maker who conquered death. Like the first disciples, we can misunderstand or miss Him until He calls us by name, and once we hear Him and see Him clearly, our darkness gives way to His light.
