Freedom in Christ

Freedom in Christ isn't found by white-knuckling the rules to earn God's approval, or by running off to chase our own happiness while claiming we still know His love. Real freedom is found when we understand the depth of our sin, embrace how deep Christ's love for us truly is, and let the Holy Spirit lead us one step at a time — like a hike taken together rather than a battle fought or a flight taken alone.

God's grace isn't just about how we get to heaven — it's about how life is meant to be lived right now. When we get impatient with His promises and grab the "possible" route instead of trusting Him, we settle for something that looks like provision but is actually spoiled, while missing the impossible, awesome thing God wanted to give us.

Jesus has set us free by grace alone, so there is no reason to go back to slaves to the law or to sin. Now that His Spirit lives in us, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to us every day — but we only experience it when we actually listen to the Spirit's voice and obey it.
