Pastor Chris Hilken argues that genuine Christian faith is not blind faith but evidence-based trust, and that modern science — from the Big Bang to the fine-tuning of gravity, the speed of light, and the cosmological constant — points unavoidably to a spaceless, timeless, immaterial, and personally intelligent Creator. Drawing on Romans 1, he contends that God's fingerprints are so thoroughly over creation that humanity is truly without excuse, and that understanding the staggering improbability of our existence should lead us not to despair or indifference but to wonder, worship, and a desire to know the God who made us on purpose, by a purpose, for a purpose.
