Justification by Faith

Christmas happened because none of us can earn our way to God by being good enough, religious enough, or knowledgeable enough — we are all Batman trying to outrace Superman, and we can never win. God's grace, shown through Abraham's example, comes to those who simply believe God, not just believe in Him, and that faith alone is what makes us right with Him.

Christmas exists because we need a savior, not a season. Romans 3:21-31 lays out the gospel: we cannot earn our way right with God by keeping rules, but through faith in Christ alone, freely and completely, God pardons us, gives us His righteousness, and invites us to trust Him rather than try to save ourselves.
