Pastor Fernando Mejia · Nov 19, 2025
Drawing from Jesus' divine appointment with the Samaritan woman in John 4, Pastor Fernando Mejia shows that Jesus intentionally seeks out the overlooked and broken, offering living water that does far more than meet an immediate need. This living water requires God's order in our lives to flow freely, and it is never meant to stop with us — just as the woman at the well became the first evangelist to Samaria, every believer is called to be a 'bucket' through whom that living water reaches others.
Pastor Caleb McMains · Jul 6, 2022
Through the names Yahweh Rapha — the Lord who heals — God reveals that His deepest concern is not fixing our external circumstances but transforming our hearts and souls from the inside out. Drawing on the Israelites' bitter-water crisis in Exodus and Jesus' encounter with the Samaritan woman in John, Pastor Caleb shows that true healing comes not through explanations or perfect outcomes, but through a personal encounter with Jesus, the living water, who took the bitterness of life upon Himself on the cross so that we could be made whole — regardless of what we face.
Pastor Daniel Goulding · Jun 12, 2018
Using the story of the woman at the well in John 4, Pastor Daniel argues that every human being carries a soul-level thirst that temporary pleasures, relationships, and achievements can never satisfy. Like the Samaritan woman who drew water at noon to avoid society's judgment, we all bring broken 'cisterns' — habits, relationships, and sins — that we cling to instead of receiving the living water Jesus offers. Real satisfaction comes only when we acknowledge we are created beings, drop our masks before the Creator, and accept the exchange Jesus made possible: our brokenness for His forgiveness, worth, and fullness of life.
