Overcoming Self-Doubt

Pastor Bill shows that what feels like humility is often really pride wearing a disguise — either arrogance that trusts your own strength, or an insecure, anxious pride that hides behind "I'm not qualified." Using Saul and David, he shows that real humility is courageous trust in God, taking who you are and what you have into the fight He's called you to.

God has a formal name, Yahweh, which means "I am" — the eternal, self-existing, all-powerful Creator who has always been and always will be. Knowing this name changes everything: instead of starting with "I can't" because of who we are, we can start with "because He is, I can," trusting Him to take what we already have and use it for His purposeful, relational call on our lives.
