Purpose and Mission

When life gets hard, believers face a choice: pull back and protect what they have, or press forward and take ground for the gospel. Philip's story in Acts 8 shows that persecution, disruption, and even loss can become the very doorway God uses to reach people who need Jesus.

Right before He went to the cross, Jesus stopped to pray, and He prayed for you by name, knowing exactly who you were before you ever existed. That prayer in John 17 gives us a pardon for our past, a power for our present mission, and a promise for our future — and embracing it, rather than chasing the world's happiness, is where real joy is found.
