God chases us not with judgment but with goodness, mercy, and love, even when we run from Him. Through the prophet Hosea's marriage to Gomer, we see that God's love is profoundly undeserved, that it ultimately brings hope, and that it is desperately needed — because He pursues us despite us, and paid everything to buy us back.
