Pastor Daniel Goulding argues that Daniel's calm defiance was not spontaneous bravery but the fruit of decades of integrity and consistent prayer. True spiritual courage, he contends, is never manufactured at the moment of crisis; it is forged on a daily path of wholeness before God and others. Just as Navy SEALs fall to their level of training under pressure, believers will fall to their level of spiritual preparation — making integrity and prayer the essential disciplines for standing firm in an increasingly hostile culture.
