Hearing God's Voice

Peace is a person, not a place, and even a spiritual giant like Elijah could serve God faithfully, see His power, and still end up alone and hopeless under a tree. The story shows that God meets us with grace rather than shame, reveals Himself in a whisper rather than the noise, and reminds us we're never as alone as we think.

God is not mumbling in some mystical code that only super-spiritual people can decode — He wants to be heard, and He speaks primarily and clearly through His Word. Using the strange story of Balaam and his talking donkey, Pastor Daniel shows that when we ignore what God has already made clear, God will lovingly frustrate our path to get our attention, and the way back is humility, forgiveness, and repentance.
